    Sadly, I had to put my dog down three weeks before finding this little guy. He couldn't have come along at a better time. He is a reminder to open your heart even when it hurts!     Daisy here!If I look a little unsure it's because...Mom made this last week and said he's our new friend:Um, I don't know if Mom knows this or not, but he's a VAMPIRE!!!!So I don't know if he really is our friend or if he's going to try and suck all our blood like the skeeters that live in our yard in the summer.He looks like a friendly guy but you just never know. We've been watching The Vampire Diaries and we know that some of those vamps are okay, but some of them are very, very mean.I'll just have to keep my eye on this guy and make sure there's no funny business.

    Bear whom we adopted from Sheltie Shack Rescue in Blue Rapids, Kansas, in 2003 at the age of 7, made his way to the Rainbow Bridge in the wee morning hours of April 13, 2012 at the age of 15 ½. We miss him so much! It’s just not the same for his two baby “sisters,” Mimi and Mabel, also adopted from Sheltie Shack Rescue. Rest in peace, beautiful boy. We will always love you.     I went to see Avengers in the movie theater yesterday. Although I think the plot could be a little bit better, I definitely got my money’s worth just by watching the fight scenes through out the movie. The computer generated sequences were excellent! If you like superhero movies in general, you will love avengers. It has been said that every superhero has a weakness. As illustrated by the artist above, if you take away Iron Man’s mask, Thor’s hammer, Captain America’s shield and Hulk’s pants, you will effectively neutralize some if not all of their powers. I…
